2nd Annual Global Forum on
Innovation, Creativity, and Intellectual Property

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is actively working to foster multilateral cooperation with business associations and corporate representatives on strategies for promoting innovation, protecting and enforcing intellectual property, and fostering wealth creation around the world.

As part of this ongoing Global IP Initiative, and following the success of last year's China forum, the U.S. Chamber, together with the U.S. India Business Council (USIBC) and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) will host the 2nd Annual Global Forum on Innovation, Creativity, and Intellectual Property in Mumbai, India.

The Global IP Forum aims to:

  • Discuss the currents trends with regards to the relationship between innovation and intellectual property, including IP "best practices" as they relate to furthering innovation and patent enforcement.
  • Provide a forum for government leaders and business executives to exchange best practices and work together to develop solutions to the persistent IP challenges throughout the world.
  • Publicize new IP initiatives, including legislative reforms, inter-governmental cooperation in case handling, preventive measures, government-industry cooperation, and consumer awareness efforts
